This was the first song to come together for my musical murder mystery, and it set the tone for the album. I used my Rickenbacker bass’ “Rick-o-Sound” feature for the first time - splitting the neck pickup to an octave petal and Marshall amp while the bridge pickup went to an Ampeg, shaped to be very deep. The industrial style keyboards filled out the sound. The lyrics came quick and I knew I had one of the key murder scenes completed.
